Picture This Ones to Watch In 2017
Hello Ladies,
2016 might have been a crappy year for most but that’s not the case for local Duo Ryan Hennessy and Jimmy Rainsford from Athy County Kildare who burst onto to music scene at the end of 2015 with their band “Picture This”.The band chose the name as they want their songs to paint pictures of stories. And that’s exactly what they do, you can relate to every sentence almost, its uplifting and Fresh. It’s safe to say I was immediatly obsessed.
Little Backround
The Duo recorded a song Ryan had written “Take My Hand” & uploaded it to Facebook and YouTube, It has amassed over 1.9 million views across all platforms. The duo’s debut gig was to be played in the Grand Social venue in Dublin, which they sold out in under 30 minutes. To meet the demand, the gig was moved to The academy, which has a capacity of 850 people. The duo became the first act to sell out the venue for their debut gig. They then went on to announce a twenty-date tour of Ireland in Spring 2016, which also sold out, we have literally gone mad for these guys and here’s why have a listen..(The lads are quite easy on the Eye! Also a bonus 😉 )

In August 2016 they released their debut album “PICTURE THIS EP” which you can purchase on iTunes here..
Its also well worth following them on Facebook, The lads are constantly interacting with fans, and even have their own little music series “Traffic Jam” , It’s Jimmy Driving around singing backing vocals while Ryan sings & plays the acoustic Guitar. Recently they have brought in other Irish Special Guests to Join them in the backseat such as Aslan’s Christie Dignam Singing “Crazy World”. It’s just Brilliant!

Goals for 2017
Hello ladies,
Hope everyone had a Fabulous Christmas & New Year’s.
So on the 24th January I turn twenty-five (Its crazy feels like I was only turning 21 yesterday!).Turning twenty five is making me think a lot about my life and its making me reassess everything, I have decided to make this my selfish year in order to achieve future goals, I graduated limerick institute of technology in 2014 with an honors degree in Business Marketing and Management but found myself stuck, I began working in a local petrol station in my second year of college and am currently still there, to be honest I’ve found it very hard to leave when i was earning an alright wage & I found it hard to get a job with my qualification without actual experience and as I don’t live at home couldn’t afford to go get work experience and hold down a full-time job. So in 2017 I want to carve out a future for myself and try find a job I’m genuinely happy doing. I have always wanted to open my own business and I’m finally going to try to go ahead with that, it will be very hard work but I’m hoping I’ll be sitting here in January 2018 saying I genuinely tried my best to make this happen.That ladies is the major goal for 2017 then of course I have a little list of smaller goals and bucket list ticking to do also so I’l leave them here and check back every so often.

So for the past few years I’ve been a complete blog buff but only now have I decided to take a rather HUGE step, for a small town girl and create my very own blog. And yes I’m a little scared but hey “if something sounds both terrifying and amazing then you should defiantly pursue it” so here I am!
